Quiet movement

February 2, 2009

Things have been fairly quiet on the litigation front for the past few weeks, but a quick look at the court docket suggests that the process continues to roll along.

Defendant Hazen has been dismissed without prejudice.  The other defendants have made a recent payment in excess of $7K for a “Complex Litigation Fee.”

It appears that some of the dates listed on the court’s calendar are merely “holding dates” and do not necessarily mean that deviations from such dates should become the subject of too much speculation.

Prospers.org participant Investar is also tracking the case on another forum.  It’s always interesting to read how others are interpreting developments related to this case.  I do not, however, necessarily agree with some of the speculations or conclusions discussed in that thread.
